- One Stroke Value Pack Brushes (Best value for money) OR Specific brushes needed for class are 3/4" Flat, #12 Flat, small scruffy and script liner
- Folk Art Paint: Wicker White, Thicket, Holiday Red, Metallic Silver, and Licorice (Black) (May choose other colors to paint design)
- Folk Art Floating Medium
- Roll of wax paper
- Sketchbook (optional)
- Wood Box
- Water Basin or cool whip container
- Foam Plates: 5 minimum
- Paper Towels

Surface Preparation:
- Sand box to remove any rough places
- Basecoat (paint) box licorice (black) before coming to class. (I used two coats of licorice, but you may choose a different color to paint your box
- Use an older paintbrush to basecoat the frame. Save your good brushes for your decorative painting
Other:
- Wear old clothes or an apron to cover clothes.
- Bring your class registration receipt, pen/pencil and note pad.
